How we work
Virtually dustless, and easy to live with
Our refinishing process is virtually dustless, and we are committed to using eco-friendly, low-VOC finishes that are safe for your health and your pets.
We take great pride in our work and follow the industry-accepted standards for hardwood floor refinishing set out by the National Wood Flooring Association. We are also BBB accredited, and we work exceptionally hard to make sure you are satisfied with the result.
The process
Four stages, start to finish
Most rooms are walk-ready within a day or two of the final coat. We will tell you what to expect before we start.

Assessment and estimate
We look at the wood you have, the damage it carries and how much thickness is left to work with, then quote the work in writing.

Dustless sanding
Containment equipment captures the sanding dust at the machine, so the old finish, scratches and dents come out without filling your home with airborne dust.

Stain and colour
Natural, one of our stains, or a custom colour mixed for you. We sample on your own boards so you can see the colour on your wood before we commit.

Protective finish
Water-based, low-VOC coats in matte, satin or gloss, applied evenly and left to cure.
